Mission Statement
Foundation 58 is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization, established in memory of Hazleton City Deputy Fire Chief Gabriel A. Mhley, dedicated to providing financial assistance to Fire Fighters, Police Officers, and Emergency Medical Service Personnel, throughout the United States, who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Scranton, PA - Foundation 58 Directors present Dan Schauffler and his family with a check for $5,000. Patrolman Schauffler was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Mantle Cell Lymphoma. This grant was presented at the "Dan Schauffler Benefit" at Tink's Entertainment Complex in Scranton, PA, hosted by the Scranton Police Department & Scranton Fire Department on July 8, 2007.
