In the summer of 2007, Foundation 58 presented Scranton Fire Fighter Keith Dierolf with the first ever grant as part of the Gabriel A. Mhley grant program in the amount of $1,425.
This grant was made to the Dierolf Family at a fundraising event hosted by the Scranton Fire Department and the Black Sheep (a local fundraising group that Keith was a part of).
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that on March 3, 2009 Keith lost his battle with cancer.
