On April 22, 2005 my cousin Keith and I established Foundation 58 in memory of my father, Hazleton City Deputy Fire Chief Gabriel A. Mhley. We wanted to help others who were experiencing what we did during the time that my father was sick. Thanks to you, our supporters, we have been able to assist ten families in four states (PA, TX, OH, SD) by granting $27,500 since October 2007.
The past six years have not been easy, and we know there will be more challenges in the future, but we will overcome these obstacles and continue to help those who help us in their battle against cancer.
